Just for fun, I recently uploaded a video of a short, solo improvisation to the Recordist Youtube channel. This piece was recorded at home on July 1, 2026 and the set-up replicates the equipment and technique that I was using for my WAX ambient project in the early 90s, i.e. 2 Casio SK-1 keyboards and on-the-fly sampling from cassettes (which reminds me, the WAX "Contusions On The Skin Of Sleep" cassette from 1992 is about due for a reissue!).
The video is not a straightforward documentation of a performance. To obscure the process and ramp up the weirdness (of course!), I superimposed a reversed version on top of the original improvisation.

Since I seem to be in a period of very little live performance, I intend to do more of these performances for video in the coming months.
