Very sad to announce the passing of Bill Exley, beloved vocalist of London, Ontario's Nihilist Spasm Band. As much as I love the chaotic energy and inventiveness of NSB as a band, it was Exley's contrastingly stern, schoolmaster persona, and humorously sonorous delivery as a vocalist and front-person that really defined the NSB for me. I hope the band will find a way to continue without him, but Bill is leaving a void that will be impossible to fill.
Keep banging those pots, Bill!
