It's Dec. 5th, 2014. Recordism is 30 years old today!!
To mark this occasion we have embarked on a large-scale archival project, the end result of which will (hopefully) be a book of Recordist writings, art, photos, and other documents (and quite likely including a CD or DVD) from our 30-year history. Our intention is to make this book available sometime over the course of the next year.
Obviously, a huge project and if you think you may be able to help us in some way, do let us know. We have already discussed this with our friend Enrique Lechuga who, earlier this year, designed, edited and published the beautiful 280 page catalog for the exhibition "La Chasse A L'Objet Du Desir" and he has enthusiastically agreed to help us with our own book. If you've seen the "La Chasse..." catalog then you know we're off to a very good start securing Enrique's assistance!
At any rate, this is what we have in the works to mark our 30th anniversary. We'll keep you posted as the project progresses.
