I've always been fascinated by the art of the album cover - that low-brow commercial art form that frequently transcends its primary purpose of selling recorded music and approaches the level of true art...and just as frequently plummets into the depths of kitsch, bad taste, and horrid design (with often hilarious results). I find collections of great album cover art genuinely inspiring and have spent many hours perusing such collections. Today, I stumbled across this blog with an enormous collection of truly wonderful album cover designs from around the globe. Well worth your time.
